Dear Friends,
After a hard-fought campaign, and a long night of election results, it's clear that my candidacy has fallen short of victory. Make no mistake, I embarked on this campaign to win and bring new representation to Washington, but the voters have spoken with their ballots. As a proud American I respect our democratic process and I know that the collective voice of the people is what makes our great country a strong democracy.
I'm proud of this campaign, and I'm proud of all my faithful supporters. This race was never going to be an easy, but I learned at an early age that you have to stand up for what you believe in. We had to stand up for the 'Common Sense Conservative' ideals we so firmly believe, and I was humbled to have so many of you standing shoulder to shoulder with me.
The results were clear, but I take pride that I was able to garner second place and get more votes than the third and fourth place candidates combined.
I could not have done any of this without you. Your selfless support was the fuel for my candidacy and I will forever be grateful for every supportive gesture you made to, and on behalf of, my campaign.
